The Role:

Lumin is seeking a Key Accounts and Partnerships Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will maintain and strengthen Lumin’s existing network of key accounts and partnerships while vetting and growing new key relationship opportunities. We are looking for a person who can balance multiple ongoing client relationships while assessing and prioritizing developing partnerships. The ideal candidate has an advanced understanding of the role that energy management plays in the distributed energy market and is self-motivated and organized, with a passion for executing business objectives, strategy, and planning.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Manage and strengthen existing relationships with key accounts and partnerships, expanding relationships by proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Expand the list of key accounts and partnerships, including solar installers, battery OEMs, builders, consultants, NPOs, and other potential partnerships
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Product Team to evaluate opportunities with key accounts and potential partners to help prioritize actionable items and next steps
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Obtain and report feedback from key accounts and partnerships, detailing issues, concerns, and product requests, as well as general feedback
  • Work with the Director of Sales to provide sales reports and rough forecasting for key accounts and partnerships
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing team on Go-to-Market strategies for upcoming products as they pertain to existing and potential key accounts and partnerships

What you bring to the table:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 3+ years experience and track record of managing key accounts and partnerships, bonus if it’s in a relevant field
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong business, financial, operations and technology acumen
  • Ability to interface at customer's most senior levels
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment and executing large-scale projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to translate strategy into clear actionable plans
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-maker with experience using deductive reasoning to simplify and communicate complex issues
  • Thrive when working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
